What are we going to do!!
Since there are lots of research for Sports Analysis, we think that billiards analysis might be a interesting topic. Following are some components we're going to implement:
- shot classification - table view
- camera calibration - find the calibration parameter between real world and virtual world i n the video, and determine every pocket's position.
- ball tracking - find all the balls on the pool table(especial cue ball and object ball)
- stroke technique/skill(桿法) - follow shot(推桿), draw shot(拉桿), stop shot(定桿), jump shot(跳球), right side, left side
- foul - double hit, miscue etc.
- player change - find player change boundary(by the status change on the pool table)
- highlight - nine ball in , clean table , Carom(開球) etc...
- suggestion - cushion(顆星) Combination shot(kiss球) Carom shot(借球) etc...
